In our sin, we desire everything to be about us, to be first, to be served rather than to serve. Yet speaking to this very issue in His disciples, Jesus spoke of Himself saying, “the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Therefore we serve not because we are good and we must serve God, but because God is good and worthy of our service.
At Redemption, we strive to have ministries for you to be involved in that can teach you, that can lead you to service and that bring you closer to Jesus. We want to offer ministries that make an impact for the cause of Christ and are not just another thing offered at the church.
We encourage one another to serve in word and in deed, that we might live lives that demonstrate the truth of the Gospel message, and by our actions, point all to Jesus.
